Probate, Real Estate Law, Estate Planning & Workers Compensation, & Mediation
Probate is the legal process of managing your loved one's estate after death. An estate typically includes many of that person’s assets, like their home, bank accounts, other property, etc.
When someone dies with a valid will, the probate court will administer the estate according to the language of the will. When someone dies without a will, the probate court will follow the laws of the state.
The ABC's of Probate involves identifying Assets, Beneficiaries, and Creditors. The Florida probate process includes opening the estate, paying creditors, and distributing assets according to the will or Florida law.
